Cookies
This page describes the cookies associated with gateway-pulsehub.digital. It should be read with the privacy notice. The banner on first visit lets you accept or reject optional cookies; either choice still leaves the site usable.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a browser can store for a site. Some remember a choice you made. Others help a host count visits. This site is a static publication. It does not set an account cookie and does not need cookies for the enquiry form to work.
Types we use
Essential. The banner records your accept or reject choice in local storage on your device under the key gph_cookie_consent. That record is not a third-party cookie. It exists so we do not ask again on every page load.
Analytics. If you accept, we may run a privacy-respecting visit count in future. Until such a script is present, accepting does not load a third-party analytics cookie. Rejecting means we will not load one if it is added later, unless you change your mind.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| gph_cookie_consent (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies | Until you clear site data or choose again | Gateway Pulse Hub (this site) |
| Fonts request (not a cookie we set) | Loads Fraunces and Source Sans 3 | Controlled by Google Fonts / your browser cache | Google Fonts |
| Unsplash image requests (not a cookie we set) | Loads photographs used on service, journal, and portrait pages | Controlled by Unsplash / your browser cache | Unsplash |
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. To decide again, clear local storage for this site in your browser settings, then reload; the banner will return. You can also block cookies entirely in the browser. The enquiry form, audits listing, and journal will still open.
Third-party cookies
Images and fonts are requested from Unsplash and Google Fonts. Those hosts may set their own cookies according to their policies. We do not control them. Follow their published notices if you want to limit that traffic, or use a browser extension that blocks third-party storage.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting optional cookies does not hide rates, findings descriptions, or the contact form. You may see the banner again on another device. Blocking all third-party storage may prevent font or photograph loading; the text of the site remains readable.
