Terms of engagement

Acceptance

By requesting work, paying a deposit, or using this website, you accept these terms. If you are accepting for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it. We may refuse an engagement that would require us to hold cardholder data or to act as a PCI assessor.

The service

Gateway Pulse Hub provides professional advice and written findings on gateway conversion tracking. We do not operate your checkout, take payment from your shoppers, or supply software for you to log into. Descriptions on this site are informational until a written confirmation names the app, the methods in scope, the fee, and the start week.

Your materials

You remain responsible for exporting logs, webhooks, and settlement extracts without PAN, CVV, or full track data. You warrant that you have the right to share those materials with us for the engagement. We may pause work if files arrive incomplete or appear to contain prohibited cardholder data.

Intellectual property

Your event logs, settlement files, and product remain yours. The findings pack we write for you is licensed to you for internal use, including circulation to your employees and contractors who need it to change the checkout. We retain copyright in our method descriptions, journal articles, and generic templates. You may not republish a findings pack as a public case study without written consent.

Confidentiality

We treat app names, logs, and commercial figures as confidential for three years after the engagement ends, except where disclosure is required by Malaysian law or you have already made the information public. We may describe hop-level lessons in anonymised journal notes that cannot identify your app.

Fees, deposits, and taxes

Fees are in Malaysian ringgit as quoted. A deposit may be required to hold a start week. Invoices are payable as stated on the invoice. You are responsible for any applicable tax that the invoice does not already include. Refunds, cancellations, and work already started are described on the refund page.

No guarantee of conversion lift

We map hops and name leaks. We do not promise a higher authorisation rate, a higher capture rate, or a commercial outcome from your shoppers. Implementing changes remains your decision and your risk.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our aggregate liability for an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement. We are not liable for lost profits, lost shopper goodwill, store-review delays, or acquirer decisions. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow a limit.

Website use

This website is provided as published. Forms send an enquiry; they do not create an engagement until we confirm in writing. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or to submit another person’s personal data without a basis to do so.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any non-excludable consumer rights you may have.
