Flagship engagement
Gateway conversion audit
A two-week reading of one live app: every authorisation, challenge, decline, and capture is matched to the event your product actually records.
The flagship engagement at Gateway Pulse Hub is a gateway conversion audit for a team already taking payment inside an app — grocery, tickets, tuition, fitness, or another live catalogue — and who cannot explain why the weekly conversion figure and the acquirer settlement disagree.
Who it is for
Product leads, payments operations, and engineering managers who own a production checkout on iOS, Android, or both. You already have a gateway. You already fire events. You need a reading of whether those events describe authorisation, challenge, capture, or money received.
The result
A written findings pack that names each conversion event against the gateway states it claims to represent, plus a working session to walk the leaks. You do not receive a login to any software of ours. You receive a map you can keep, mark up, and hand to whoever will change the checkout.
Scope
One production app, the payment methods already live (card, FPX, DuitNow, and named e-wallets), and a sample window of typically seven consecutive days. We do not expand into methods you plan to add unless you book the launch-week review separately.
Included
- An inventory of in-app purchase and checkout events, with the screen or callback that fires each one.
- A join of those events to gateway webhooks and to a sample settlement extract you provide.
- A named list of leaks — authorisation counted as sale, missing timeout states, duplicated retries, challenge hops with no return.
- One working session of up to two hours in Balakong or over video, with Priya Nair facilitating and Amina Rashid on the measurement reading.
- The findings pack as a dated document you may circulate internally.
Excluded
- Rewriting checkout screens or copy.
- Negotiating interchange, MDR, or acquirer contracts.
- Acting as a PCI QSA or holding cardholder data. We work from tokens, event logs, and settlement files you already store.
- Ongoing alerting or a retained login after the engagement closes, unless you later book instrumentation or a diagnosis.
Who delivers it
Amina Rashid leads the measurement reading. Daniel Teoh traces decline codes and retry loops. Priya Nair writes the pack and runs the session. Work is based at Lot PT & 25999 in Balakong, with remote sessions the default for teams outside Selangor.
Process and timeline
- Intake call to confirm the app, gateways, and whether a settlement sample can be exported without cardholder data.
- Event inventory against the live build you nominate.
- A sample week of logs, webhooks, and settlement lines.
- Findings session and delivery of the pack.
Ten working days is typical from a complete intake. We will say so if the payment-method count or log quality will stretch that.
Preparation
Please have a named contact who can export event logs, a webhook sample, and a settlement file covering the same dates. Sandbox access helps for the challenge hop; it is not a substitute for production logs. We will not ask for PAN, CVV, or full track data.
Constraints
We cannot audit an app that has not yet taken a live payment. We cannot treat a marketing pixel as a conversion event. Governing work is professional advice, not a guarantee of a higher authorisation rate.
Price and next step
From RM 4,800 for one app and the methods already live. A wider method set or a second store-review variant is quoted after intake. Write from the contact page with the app name and gateways in use.
